Extracurriculars

Santa Cruz Catholic School is proud to offer many extracurricular opportunities for our students.  These activities occur after school hours beginning at 3:50pm.  All extracurricular activities are optional.

Musical Theater

Students have multiple opportunities to participate in theater at Santa Cruz.  Past shows include The Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians, Cinderella, Aladdin, The Aristocats, Disney's The Lion King, and Winnie the Pooh among many other mini musicals and performances. In Fall 2017, the 1-4th grade performed Press Start and in Spring of 2018, Santa Cruz 5th-8th grade proudly presented The Sound of Music

Students from grades 1-8 learn many theater skills and become confident performers. Several students have gone on to perform in theater productions at St. Augustine, Salpointe, San Miguel and Tucson High. Students also have opportunities to see touring Broadway shows in Tucson and Phoenix. Students have gone to see Wicked at ASU and the U of A, Mary Poppins at ASU's Gammage Theater, and most recently Matilda as part of Broadway in Phoenix.

This year we are proud to present THREE amazing productions!  We hope you will join us!
